YORK, Pa. -- Rutter's Farm Stores has selected Jeff Weinman of Mountville, Pa., as the second winner of free gas for a year inthe convenience store chain's #SummerofFreedom sweepstakes.
The company named Roy Troop, of Hallam, Pa., as the first winner of free fuel for a year, selected in June.
There will be four grand prizewinners of free gas for a year throughout the summer. Every customer can enter the by purchasing any of the #SummerofFreedom featured items, which are marked by a star symbol throughout the store. The customer earns one entry into the drawing for each featured item they purchase.
In addition to free gas, customers can also win thousands of other prizes, such as free Rutter's coffee for a year, professional baseball tickets, concert tickets, fuel discounts, free food and merchandise from Rutter's stores. Food and merchandise winners are notified by email and prizes are made available to customers using their Rutter's Rewards loyalty wallet. Winners click a link in the email and the prize is automatically added to their loyalty wallet. To redeem the offer, the customer scans his or her registered Rutter's Rewards card and the prize item at checkout. The discount is automatically applied; there are no coupons required.
Every Rutter's customer can take advantage of two-cents-per-gallon discounts for each fountain soda, frozen slushie and Kunzler sausage they purchase using a registered Rutter's Rewards card through the end of the summer.
