CLEARWATER, Fla. -- GSP, a leading provider of point-of-purchase (POP) materials to large, multi-site convenience-store and other retailers and leading brands, has announced that it has added the EFI VUTEk HS100 Pro, a high-volume digital UV inkjet press, to its GSP Florida Operations facility.
The new digital press gives GSP increased capacity and flexibility while ensuring consistent print quality.
"When it comes to speed and outstanding image quality, the new VUTEk HS100 Pro can’t be beat,” said Elaine Scrima, GSP’s vice president of operations. “The capacity of this hybrid digital UV press will be especially helpful in the work GSP produces for national retailers. It gives us fast, accurate output with amazing color consistency in longer, more cost-effective sheet runs… the kind of digital efficiencies we require to offer quick turnarounds, versioning and localization. We’re thrilled to be able to offer our clients such advanced web-to-print production features.”
The new 3.2-meter hybrid digital UV press will expand GSP’s capacity for tight turns and improve overall quality as part of its continued investment in G7 Master Printer Qualification. GSP is proud to be a G7 Master since 2010, and is one of only 23 printers in the U.S. to achieve the G7 Master Printer Qualification from IDEAlliance in both large format digital and screen-printing methods. (G7 is a method for calibrating imaging devices to ensure consistency across multiple production runs for the highest-quality point-of-purchase [POP] regardless of print method or production facility.)
