ALTOONA, Pa. -- The Penn State Altoona Advisory Board will hold the 30th annual Sheetz-Pepsi Golf Tournament on May 29 at Iron Masters Country Club in Roaring Spring, Pa.
The event begins with registration and a breakfast buffet at 9:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. The tournament format is a scramble with handicap.
Registration is $150 per person and $600 per team, which includes breakfast, greens fee, cart, beverage and snack service, prizes, a gift, use of locker room and post-tournament reception and awards program.
The entry deadline is May 22.
Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third-place teams overall and to the winners of six skill contests. Golfers will also participate in four hole-in-one contests sponsored by the Penn State Altoona Bookstore. The grand prize is $10,000.
Tee sponsorships are available for $100 for one and $150 for two.
All proceeds benefit Advisory Board initiatives that support Penn State Altoona.
